Waitakaruru School

Waitakaruru School is a school that is based on the Hauraki Plains catchment area, if you drive to Auckland we are on the left just after the dairy. We currently have 80 students at our school and 4 classrooms.

Our aim is to  ensure all of our children know the core values of our school what this looks like and can verbalise and action these. Our professional values as teachers and a community is to know our students really well. We have student profiles, share learning on see-saw (an educational facebook) and dedicate 4 staff meetings per term to talking about learning and student needs. Our staff are highly qualified covering a range of strengths from dance, Te Reo, Chinese language, Computer technology, and implementing individual learning programmes with students.

Come and visit our school any time.
We have a school facebook page: Search for Waitakaruru School Community News
